ABOUT US

It’s a great place to come with a group or rent individual rooms.

Large open-concept kitchen, dining  and living room with French doors that lead out to a huge patio complete with bar-b-q grill. Stay, relax and enjoy all the activities in the area such as fishing, hiking, bicycling, exploring historic sites, farmer’s markets, dining and much more.

The town of Northfield was established in 1673 and in 1934, Isabel and Monroe Smith opened the first U.S. youth hostel in Northfield. Hostels are unique in that you are sharing common facilities but may be a bit barren on amenities. Not the case with the Northfield Guest House.

Guests rent individual rooms and share the two full bathrooms but also have access to a completely renovated home with all new appliances, furniture, living room, dining and kitchen areas. A continental breakfast will be provided or guests may also cook on their own.

All areas, including bedrooms, are equipped w/ energy efficient mini-split systems for an incredibly comfortable and quiet climate controlled area. There is also WiFi throughout the property and a computer work area w/ printer is available. Plenty of free parking.

There is a full bathroom downstairs right off the kitchen with a 5’ walk-in shower, toilet closet, double-sink vanity, washer/dryer with folding/ironing area.

There is also a full bathroom upstairs with a tub, sink vanity and toilet.

Reservations: Adults may book a single room or rent all four for a family gathering. Each room is equipped w/ a queen bed, 32” Smart flat screen TV, towels, full closet, bath amenities, and mini-split system. Hair dryer available on request.

Owners, Lee and Denise Caron Winemiller, live on property from May-October. We will greet you upon arrival and answer any questions you may have. Hope to see you soon!
